We have to feed our minds with positive and motivational thoughts for lasting success.

The Motivation Wall

I have the most brilliant clients. And no, I’m not just partial to them – it’s a fact! 🙂 They come up with amazing ideas. I have a current client, who has lost a significant amount of weight, and was looking for ways to inspire herself on days her motivation wasn’t high to workout. She came up with the idea to create a motivational wall in the room where she exercises (you can put one anywhere!) and picked some “picture quotes” that were unique and inspirational to her.

And her wall is not done.

She is also posting her progress photos showing how far she has come as motivation. She is creating her wall to chronicle her journey and be unique to her!

This was such a good idea. Perhaps it will get you thinking about your own motivation wall.

The Motivation Jar

For those who don’t have a spare wall, I wanted to share an idea a different client gave me as a gift. She printed out picture quotes and gave them to me in a big glass jar so I could pull one out everyday for motivation. It’s been a wonderful gift!

So, don’t forget to surround yourself with motivational thoughts unique to YOU. Most of the time we know what we SHOULD be doing, but the missing piece is motivation. While surrounding ourselves with positive affirmations may seem like the least important thing we can do to lose weight, it is often the step we can take to help us the most!
