The most important thing when it comes to working out is being able to do it consistently. It doesn’t help to start a new workout program, push yourself by exercising daily, and then stopping after a short while because you can’t continue to fit daily long workouts into your normal life. So, how much should I exercise to keep it up consistent, as well as maintain good health? I have a rhyming hashtag I developed that has been helpful to my clients to remember when planning their weekly workout schedule – #3to5ForExercise.

To improve health, as well as create a reasonable exercise schedule you can continue the long term, plan to get in some movement at least 3 to 5 times per week. Even if you are short on time, a 10-min metabolic workout can do the trick! The most important thing when it comes to exercise is to build the habit of movement. That’s how we stay fit for life!
To help you with workout ideas, I’ve grouped many of the free workouts I’ve shared in past blog posts to www.barbsfitforlife.com/category/home-workout/. Check it out and get some #3to5ForExercise workout ideas!
